Did you know Green Tea is better than Black Tea?
Green tea has been shown to have the highest content of polyphenols. These are chemicals with potent antioxidant properties, and are believed to be even greater than vitamin C. The polyphenols give tea it’s bitter flavor, and because green tea leaves are young, and have not been oxidized, they have upto 40% polyphenols. Black tea only contains about 10% polyphenols.
